There is a giant salamander in China. It is 5 feet long, possibly 200 years old and is on the Internet. While I am glad to be able to see this marvelous beast, and that scientists have been able to measure and observe it, here’s hoping it will be returning soon to its own cave lair.
Or if that is not secure, that the authorities will find it a suitable substitute cave in a giant Internet salamander-safe location. Because this guy deserves to keep right on blowing bubbles in a Chinese cave for another couple hundred years. Maybe the next time we see him he will be 10 feet long.
Click here for a nifty video of the giant Internet salamander. See him with a peron and a measuring tape for scale. Watch him wiggle his little toes.
